Hello All,

We are trying to extend and L3 out (Static routing) from an ACI fabric to external Arista switch which is a gateway for one of the subnet for storage replication. As soon as we are connecting the Arista switch to ACI Leaf, port on ACI leaf is going in OUT-OF SERVice state and showing amber in GUI.

Please help to resolve the issue.

Hello,

It sounds like you are missing something in the access policies for that interface. Verify that you have a switch selector, interface selector, interface policy group, AEP, and L3 domain

Hello,

I have resolved the issue...ACI leaf does not allow to set different router-id on same leaf and in same VRF. In my case leaf 113-114 is used as a border leaf to terminate WAN links using EBGP and router -id's are set for the both the Nodes.

I was extending an L3out - arista switches for replication using same WAN links on same Leafs using different router-id's. There was a fault in L3out under Tenant>routed external network, i changed the router Id's used for WAN links and interface usage turned into EPG (Earlier it was Discovery)
