ACI node authentication with 802.1x and eap (certificate based auth)

Hey everyone,
I am unable to find a document or guide describing how (or even if) it is possible to configure certificate based authentication with 802.1x and eap (or any other way) for ACI nodes (leaf and spine switches and apics) authentication. Has someone came across something similar and would be able to point me to the right direction?

Most of the DC environment not come across we autheticate device using 802.1x

but intrested use case to know
