I don't have access to APIC CIMC because the password I received is not working. The team who installed the APIC don't have another password.
The following default passwords are not working either: password , Cisco1234, Cisco12345, Cisco123, Cisco, Password
How can I recover the access to APIC CIMC?
Will I be able to change the password if we press F8 or I need the current password?
Currently I don't have access to the physical device, so a visit to site has to be arranged and justified.
Model is APIC-SERVER-M2 C220
Thanks

Hi,
Can someone confirm if F8 will allow me to change the password even if current password is unknown?
Thanks

For anyone having the problem with an APIC-L3 server (C220 M5).
Entering F8 during the boot process will require an password.
In bios F8 is not a valid command.
You will need physical access to the server to put a jumper on J39 pins 3 and 4 .
See doc ''Using the Reset Cisco IMC Password to Default Header''

In my case it reset the CIMC config too, but not a big problem.
