Hi all,
I'm testing the following scenario:
[HostA(Lo0 172.16.1.1 DefaultGw 192.168.0.1) int addr:192.168.0.10/24] --in-- [EPG - BD(192.168.0.1/24)] --C-- [L3OUT (EIGRP)] ---- [Router(LAN 0.0.0.0 EIGRP)]
I have host route 172.16.1.1/32 in EPG pointing to an IP 192.168.0.10. The host route type "EP Reachability" is set in the EPG->Subnets and has the "Advertised externally" parameter set.
Everything works correctly.
The problem is that when address 192.168.0.10 is disabled (it is offline), ACI still advertises the route 172.16.1.1 to the LAN.
Is there any way to prevent ACI from broadcasting the 172.16.1.1 address in EIGRP when the HostA is down?
regards
Andrzej

Hey @Andrzej_P , Could you please draw and insert the logical diagram of this connectivity for better understanding and issue resolution.

Hi @Andrzej_P ,
I don't think there is a way to dynamically un-advertise the EP Reachability Next Hop in case it is down. There is no feature here like IP SLA.
However, the question would be, why would you like? What bothers you to have that route propagated when the end service is down? Does it conflict with another route?
Regards
