Hi all,
It seems to me that MCP and bpduguard features are providing the same functionality which is to prevent loops at layer 2.
What is the added value of MCP, then ?
Thanks

MCP is a more advanced feature which you can more finely tune the response action. MCP can operate on a Per-VLAN basis (our recommendation), where BDPU guard can't, it affects the entire port (including all VLANs).
