Hi We have Multipod-Fabric and we have decmission Pod-1
So as I know APIC Inband IPs are the first adresses of Pod1s TEP-Pool. Also DHCP-Relay on IPN for Multipod is targeted to these
Adresses.
Is thera a way to achive that ?

Thx

Hubert

Hey @HUBERT RESCH

You're right, decommissioning Pod-1 in a Cisco ACI Multi-Pod fabric requires careful planning, especially considering the APIC in-band management IPs and DHCP relay configuration.

Let me briefly share decommissioning steps as below:

  1. Plan and asses the impact
  2. Migrate workloads
  3. Change APIC configuration
  4. Physically decommission
  5. Verify and monitor

Hope This Helps!!!

Hi Hubert,

What you are referring to is probably the APIC IP addresses that are taken from the internal TEP pool of Pod 1. So if you want to decommission Pod 1, remember to keep its TEP pool configured in APIC even if no switches are in Pod 1 anymore, because the APICs are still using it.
