Ques :ACI multi-pod (2pods) with IPN to Multi-pod spines back-to-back

Question :ACI multi-pod (2pods) with IPN to Multi-pod spines back-to-back.

Clinet is replacing first gen spines in their multi-pod setup with GX spines and wants to eliminate IPN nodes as they are not going to have a extra pod. So they will only stay on two pods. Will the migration to have the spines connected back-to-back entail that pod will be have discovered again ? So they will have to be wiped and added to the fabric again as pod 2 ?

Found the awnser, looks like you don't have to wipe pod2 fabric but there will be a traffic disruption are running each pod standalone during cutover window while removing links to ipn network and everything is being rerouted over the new back-to-back link interface profiles. l
