Upgrade ACI Nodes cables from 40G to 100G

Good Day,

I need to upgrade my current Leafs cable from 40G to 100G, please advise what is the best practice for the subject.

1 - Switch off the required switches one by one & start after replacing cables from 40G to 100G in the same ports from spine to leaf.

2 - Lay the 100G in the new ports and keep the ports shut, later, shut the 40G and unshut the 100G.

I went through this process a year or so ago. I replaced all of ours "hot"
during a maintenance window.
I used the same ports on the spines and leafs. I just replaced one link at
a time per leaf switch so it always had connectivity to one spine. Once
the first link came back up I would swap the second. We didn't suffer any
downtime.

Hi @aashfaque ,

as @brlehigh mentioned you can "hot swap" fabric links one after another. there shouldn´t be any impact.

We did this quite a few times during production times.
