Upgrade of ACI Spines

We are in the process of upgrading one of our Sites and when I try to create a group, none of the Spines show up as switches.  We have upgraded another site without issue, but for some reason I am not able to add either SPINE to an upgrade group.  I can see all the leafs but no spines.

Running APIC version 5.3(2f).

Any suggestions?Application Centric Infrastructure, Cisco ACI

Hi There,

is there any chance that you do already have an upgrade group created from a previous upgrade?

If so, then the Spine or Leaf wont show up for a new upgrade group if it is already part of the old upgrade group.

If you do have an old upgrade group where you have those Spines, delete the upgrade group and then you can add it to a new group.

In my lab, I have all the devices in the old upgrade groups, no switches to select for a new group:
