Dear Community,
Need you expert advise on upgrading Cisco ACI APIC from firmware version 4.x to 5.0?? Do you recommend?
Its a greenfield deployment and has no workloads, So i think its a best time to upgrade without impacting BU's.
Will the smart licensing change? Will i have to take new token if moved to 5.0, Since its a very recent deployment, the version 4.x is also not yet registered?? what is recommended.

Hi, balbaletabrez.
As far as I know, there are no changes to smart licensing. 5.0(1k) has less GUI differences compared to version 4, so I think that there is no problem in upgrading. Please note that some hardware such as Spine and Leaf are not supported.

In terms of upgrade we have 6 APICS - 3 in DR and 3 in DC, Do i have to upload the image only in one APIC and it will sync with other remaining 5 APIC's or i have to install one by one in each APIC's.
Both clusters are active/active and have MSO in between.
