Using the 9508 as both a leaf and spine switch?

Hi,

I have a question: Do the modular N9K switches, such as the 9508, support a mixture of leaf and spine line cards in the same chassis (i.e. function as both a leaf and spine)?

The online documents seem to suggest that the switches can only function as either a spine OR a leaf under ACI mode, but I wanted to be sure.

Hey ericbkchng,

As of right now, the 9500 model is not supported as a leaf node, and can only function as a spine. You're correct in assuming that switches can only function as either a leaf OR a spine.
