Hi @chkp-eviatars ,
@Wassim Aouadi is exactly right - it is completely a cosmetic change (and a welcome one - even more welcome would be remove the whole L2Out thing altogether - I've spoken about this here and here)
You can verify that the change is cosmetic by looking at the objects behind the External Bridged Networks or the L2Outs. If you navigate to say Tenants >> common > Networking > [External Bridged Networks|L2Outs] > default >+ Open in Object Store Browser you will find that in both cases the distinguished name of the object you find is uni/tn-common/l2out-default

Hello @chkp-eviatars ,
I guess somewhere between releases 5.2(x) and 6.(x) because I don't remember seeing the word L2Out anywhere in the GUI in the past. It seems to me a cosmetic change, since the term L2Out has been around for years and meant exactly the extension of ACI BDs to the outside. But for some reason the team that designed the GUI did not want to let go of the term 'external bridged networks'..

Hi @RedNectar , Thank you for the response.
Are you think L2Outs will be deprecated out in next version?

Hi @chkp-eviatars ,
No. L2Outs will not go away - to hard to force those who are using them to change - and some people actually like them!
