ACE 4710 software upgrade from A3(2.0) to A5(1.2)

Hi

I have a pair of ACE 4710's running software version A3(2.0).  I intend to upgrade to version A5(1.2).  Can I go straight to version 5 or do I need to go to version 4 and then version 5?

Hi

It's fine to upgrade directly to A5.

The only thing to take into account is that, if you try to configure any IPv6 features on one of the devices while the other one is still using A3, configuration replication will fail. To avoid it, just refrain from doing any configuration changes until the upgrade has been done on both devices
