Hello All,
I'm trying to configure a one arm context but for some reason it does not work. The rservers are marked as ARP_FAILED.
Does anybody have an idea of what wronmg with this config?
I've attached a copy of the configuration to this thread.
Regards,
Thibault.

what vlan are the rservers in ? the .231 and 232 addresses are not in the range for vlan 1136 (241-254 due to 28 bit mask). one arm config implies servers on the same vlan as the ace.

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
The rservers are in a different vlan than the ACE. The idea behind it is that only the traffic that matches the VIP goes to the ACE. I thought it was possible to configure the one-armed ACE this way. Using one vlan for the rservers and the ACE implies 6 ip addresses for the routing only (3 for hsrp and 3 for the ACE).

that should be okay jsut wanted to make sure.
SO are servers reachable through the gateway 10.18.25.243 ? do you have an arp entry for this gateway (show arp on ace)?

if you have an arp entry for the gateway can you ping the servers from the ace ?
what version of ace software ?

Ok, it is fixed now now...
Once again it was a bug, I had to delete the rservers and re-create them to fix the issue.
That's realy annoying with the ACE, you spend hours troubleshooting something that eventually happens to be a bug... And in fairness it happens quite often.
I hope this will help someone else.

Thibault.
