ACE Blade 100-200 Health Probes per Application

Hi,

We are starting to get applications that will respond to hundred's of ports. This would require 1 probe per port. As you might of guessed, this would be time consuming to configure. Is there a way to configure group's of ports or the only way is to manually configure each port/probe and assign it to each of the server farm.

Secondly, can we see how many probes have been created on the ACE Blade as a whole and or see which context has how many probes?

Hello Stephane!

How about this command?

sh run | inc probe | inc tcp | count

It counts you how many tcp-probes you have configured. For the context you can use it togehter with the invoke command.

For faster configuration i would recommend you to use Excel or Linux shell. Both is quite powerful for this.
