ACE: reply to ping with loadbalance vip icmp-reply active

Hi,

I've following command applied in policy map:

loadbalance vip icmp-reply active

but the VIP still answers to ping even though the assciate serverfarm is down.

please help!

You should configure

loadbalance vip icmp-reply

instead of

loadbalance vip icmp-reply active

"loadbalance vip icmp-reply" replied too even when VIP is down

My mistake, you indeed need to have "loadbalance vip icmp-reply active" instead of "loadbalance vip icmp-reply".

What do you have in  "sh service-policy detail"? Do you maybe have more than one vip listening on the same ip?
