Hi Guys,
Trying to do a URL rewrite for a http redirct.
If i use the the wildcard ".*" this works but the traffic going through the ACE inherits a lot of latency.
So i have tried to be more specific with the url, i am trying to change http://mail.test.gov.uk/ac/webabc , what would be the command? i have tried different variations but cannot get it to match.
Any ideas, and would this resolve the latency issue?
Cheers
James

James,
the first part is the hostname and can't be match with the url match.
So, what you have to match is "/ac/webabc.*"

Gilles,
I have tried all sorts of permentations but still cannot get it to match.
I have reverted back the wildcard ".*" but again this causes seems to cause delay. Does this match on all return traffic or only only a redirect?
I would like to be more specific with this but cannot get it to match, i have tried
"\.ac\webabc"
"\ac\webabc"
"\ac\webabc.*"
