Hello

How can I decide what parameter will be include in the cookie for a particular real server, when using active cookies?

Thanks in advance.

what do you mean by what parameter ?

Also, are you talking about server cookie dynamically learned by the CSM or static cookie created by the CSM ?

Gilles

First of all i was talking about static cookies created by the CSM.

It is possible to force CSM to add cookie for a specific server, is going to be set for this cookie?

I found in the conf. guide that it is possible to configure a sticky policy

"sticky time cookie cookie_name insert" and assigned it to the vsever.

I am wondering what parameter is set for cookie_name=??? for a specific real server.

ok, your question is clear to me know.

The value is created automatically by the CSM.

It is a hash value that usually looks like this : cookie_name = r12345678

This value has absolutely no meaning to the rest of the world. Only the CSM knows that it matches a particular server.

You can't set this value manually.

Gilles.

Ok, thank You for your explenation.

Best regards
