The drive in our Central Manager (WAE-515) died and Cisco RMA'd a replacement one. The IBM drive arrived today in a sealed static package, which makes me think that the drive is not even formated much less loaded with WAAS IOS.
Are there instructions somewhere that will help me - if this drive is not formated and loaded with IOS - to get it back to booting up with WAAS software?

Hi,
There are two parts of the WAAS software: the flash based and the disk based.
If you change the hard drive on a single disk machine, the disk based software will be gone but the flash one will still be there.
Once you boot the WAE, you'll get to the CLI and it will allow you to install the IOS on the hard drive with the "copy ftp install" command.
Another option would be to boot with the recovery CD of the version you are running and install it with the option 8 of the recovery CD.

Nicolas
