Change the authentication settings of the CM

If I need to change the RADIUS or TACACS+ servers IP addresses for the CM authentication, can I just make the change in the CM GUI page? Or I should access the CM using CLI and change the device to "local authentication" before changing the RADIUS / TACACS+ details?

Thanks!

Joe

Hi Joe,

You should be able to do it directly from the CM. However, I would strongly recommend you to change to local authentication first in case there are any issues. If you don't, you may get locked out of your devices.
