Cisco Conetent 566 Solution

A client wants a Caching solution for their GPRS network. We want to propose Content Engine 566. The Clients requirements are;

a) Support Transparent Proxy

b) Support for HTTP, FTP, Gophers and SOCKS

c) Support for Secure Connection (Transparent HTTPS)

d) Caching of DNS look up

e) Provide HTTP Compression

f) Integrated Web Content Filtering

g) Extensive Access Control

h) Cluster Solution

Does the 566 support all these feature (esp. e, c, h)?

Hello Ebreniz,

I have gone through the datasheet but I cant get infor on HTTP Compression and support for Gopher & SOCKS.

Also, how do you configure a Cisco WAE 611 to act as a CDM? Do you need any special license?
