cisco css redundancy issue

Hi All,

I am running BOX to BOX CSS redundancy. When the CSS 1 goes down CSS 2 will take over the role and everything works as it should be but after some minutes the services die for one to two minutes. Then the come up again and remain stable.

And my second question is when i reboot the secondary css i.e CSS 2 the CSS 1 will become unresponsive for about 5 min before it take the active role.

CSS version runnin is: sg8.10 .

I am not sure if this is hitting any bug?

Sounds like an ARP cache issue! You may need to clear the arp table on the CSS and the switch we ran into a similar issue doing failover testing
