Hello!!
On two Cisco WAAS is a "Raid error" shown.
Device 1: WAE-674-K9
Device 2: WAE-7341-K9
It seems the issue depends on an incorrect stripe order:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Logical drive information
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Logical drive number 1
Logical drive name : Drive 1
RAID level : 5
Status of logical drive : Critical
Size : 857088 MB
Read-cache mode : Enabled
Write-cache mode : Enabled (write-back)
Write-cache setting : Enabled (write-back) when protected by
battery
Partitioned : Yes
Number of chunks : 4
Stripe-unit size : 256 KB
Stripe order (Channel,Device) : DDD 0,1 0,2 0,3
Bad stripes : No
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Physical Device information
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On other devices without an error is the stripe order:
Stripe order (Channel,Device) : 0,0 0,1 0,2
What could be done to solve the issue?
Couldn't found any information until now for this...
Thanks for some information!
Kind regards,
Joerg Klopottek

Joerg,
When did that error pop up? I find it hard that two devices are affected in a similar fashion out of the blue
Check if all diska are OK
"show disk detail"
And if bad comes to worse you can always re-create RAID with rescue CD.

Hi Joerg,
Can you paste "show disk tech" CLI output here?
Regards.
