Dirk,

actually you have a CSM-S.

Support for the CSM-S was introduced with CVDM 1.1 as mentioned @

Gilles.

Hi Gilles,

i installed the following in the bootflash:

cvdm-c6500-1.1.tar

cvdm-csm-1.1.tar

and set the following commands in the running config.

ip http server

ip http authentication aaa

ip http path bootflash:

But when i connect with the browers to router nothing happend. If i make a telnet on routers loopback ip on port 80 the connection is established.

If i make a connect via wfetch i get the following output (i delete the IP Adresse):

started....WWWConnect::Connect("IP address cleared from customer","80")\nIP = "IP address cleared from customer:80"\nsource port: 1211\r\n

WWWConnect::Close("IP address cleared from customer","80")\nclosed source port: 1211\r\n

cannot send data, because connection is closedfinished.

Do you have any idea for this problem.

Best regards...

Dirk

Dirk,

this is a tar file.

It needs to be uncompressed before you can use the server.

The procedure is explained in the readme file that you can download from the same page as the tar file.

The command you need looks like this :

archive tar /xtract tftp:/// bootflash:

Gilles.

Hi Gilles,

i found the reason for the problem . i forgot the line vty configuration :

transport input ssh telnet..

Now it works fine..

But now i have the next question...

it is possible to work only with ssh and the cdvm ? or do i need telnet everytime ? for security reasons we want to use only ssh ?

Best regards

Dirk
