Duplex problem with inline card WAN0

Hi,

We have problem with our newer WAE 574 with version 4.1.7 and inline card for the WAN port.

We have an Cisco router on the WAN and have tried with configure100/full and auto/auto, crossover cable and staight-through, but the WAE WAN0 is olny going up in 100/half.

If we change the WAE inlinegroup from auto/auto in to 100/full, the router and WAE WAN0 interface goes down.

On the LAN side we use staight-through cable and the switch port is in fixed 100/full without any problem, see below

#sh run

interface InlineGroup 1/0
inline vlan all

I've configured the inline cards as per below and no problem observed on same scenario.

interface InlineGroup 1/0
inline vlan all
failover timeout 3
no autosense
bandwidth 100
full-duplex
exit
interface InlineGroup 1/1
inline vlan all
failover timeout 3
no autosense
bandwidth 100
full-duplex
exit
!

Hi,

Yes it shoulden't be any problem as I have already seven 574 up and running.

But the three new last one there is an problem with.

The only thing i have done is to upgrade my CMA to 4.2.1

Could this be an issue?

Can you provide the configuration and show interface output from the router as well?

Thanks,
Zach

Hi Zach,

We change the cable between the router and the WAE to straight-throu and change the router interface to autosense.

This solved the problem.

Now we have two more 574 to go. ;-)

For us that have 512, 612, 274, 574 and 674 up and running, the 574 is hard sometimes to get up in right speed and duplex.

Thx Jan
