How can i up/downgrade ECDN-to-ACNS or ECDN-to-Cache Engine?
I would like to use CE507 for Cache Engine.
So I tried to find how to do, I found some documents.
The document sait that if i want to upgrade from ECDN to Cache Engien, I should use "ECDN-TO-ACNS-4.1.1-K9.mata" and "ECDN-TO-ACNS-4.1.1-K9.upg".
But I counldn't fine these files in the Software download homepage.
How can i accomplish that?

Thans Mark.
I almost finish except just one thing.
The one is CE's image file like "CE-507-CDN-SEB-ACNS-40x.bin"
Do you know where is it?
I couln't find out...
In addition, my company is cisco partner.
So, i'm able to download software.
but, i'm already mention it, i coun't find "Cryto ~" in the software download page.
Annway, If you know where is the CE-507-CDN-SEB-ACNS-40x.bin, please tell me....
Have a nice day...

I've had a good look all over CCO and the image file you mention doesn't appear to exist on CCO at all. It may an internal name the Cisco used to reference it, I'd use a .bin file that matches the release you want to go to and check to see if you need to go via an intermediate, from what I can see you only need use a special version if you are running 2.x, if you have 3.x they all appear to upgrade using the standard .bin for either 4.0, 4.1 or 4.2. I've used 4.2 with very few problems so unless you have a real need to go 4.1 I'd recommend ACNS-4.2.13.1-K9.bin
Its been running for one of my financial customers since Oct 2003 with no problems.
Hope that helps,
Mark

HI,
depending on your assigned rights/priviledges of your CCO account you might not be able to download 3DES images like you won't be able to do a only configuration when you want to buy/configure a new device). I think you've to contact either the responsible person within your company or the responsible cisco representative.
In regards of the error-message did you try the recovery procedure with the sysimg file? the normal binary won't work!
CE507 is defenitively supported by ACNS as I've a running CE507 coming from CEv3 via ACNS 4.x ending at ACNS 5.1.5.
Please try the recovery procedure either the one Mark talked about or the one described in the link I gave you.
If everything fails report the CE as damaged and do an exchange it if you have a maintenance contract with cisco.
Kind Regards,
Joerg

Hi.
I'm gonna explain to you shortly.
At this time, CE507 has two image.
ce507-ACNS-4.0.3-K9.sysimg
ce507-ACNS-4.0.3-K9.bin
Whenever i try to login to the CE507,
I didn't succeced it.
In turn, I filled into the username, password such as "admin","root","default","cisco" and so on...
The screen is as fllow.
Cisco Content Engine Console

What's wrong?
What't the default password?

Thats good that you can get to the username and pasword, the standard username/password is
admin, default.
You cannot change or delete the admin passowrd so it will be admin and the password, can you use the recovery procedure below to change the admin password?
