get the statistic on Local Director through snmp

Dear all,

I try config on local director,

{

ip address 192.168.1.254 255.255.255.0

snmp-server host(ip)

snmp-server community public

}

so, I used the snmp manager to get the statue of local director 192.168.1.254, but responses as shown below

<Interface list for 192.168.1.254

Reply packet reported error, index = 1>

Could some one can help us.

Make sure that the host from where you're doing the snmppoll is in LD config and secondly, LD responds only to SNMP v2c requests. Check your syntax.

I download the file ld-mibv2.my, & compile into Net inspector (MG-Soft), normally get the error message & cannot compile, Please advise
