Hello,
GSS sticky feature, does anybody use that with RR algrithm ?
In the current environment I have issue when GSS's (we have 4)
don't have time to agree on how to stick up with specific rule.
One GSS sticks up withy one onswer, second with another.
As a cure Cisco recommends to make TTL reasonably high (no exact numbers though).
This would let GSS's time to make an agreement (redistribute stickiness DB among GSS's)
while DNS proxies are answering from their cache
Any idea what that reasonable number of TTL would be ?
Thank you,
Alexander

TTL value depends on a lot of parameter. Try to set the TTL value to 20

Good point,
I would say a lot of parameters depend on TTL as well.

Alex
