Keepalive for the real server in CSS w/SSL

I configured SSL termination in the CSS w/SSL(11503) and works fine but the problem is how detect the real server's alive status at the client perspective.

client(443)--network--css(w/ssl)--server(80)

I have two contents which contains ssl service(ssl-accel) and http(real server). if I disconnect the real server cable, only down the http content and still alive ssl content so client can get the certificaiton screen even cannot browser the real server. I don't want to get the certification screen.

Thanks,

I have a similar set up:

client (443) ---CSS -- SSL accelerator -CSS - Server (6122)

I have http keepalives for the regular servers, and then I add a redirect service as the primary sorry server. Thus, when the normal server is down the user gets a redirect to a different web server that gives them a "sorry the application is down" message.

This works just fine with the Sonicwall SSL accelerators (which are proxies), but I don't know if it will work with the SSL modules in the CSS.

Best of luck.
