Hi,

Im currently using a pair of CSS11150 in active, passive mode across 2 data centers as a shared service for multiple clients.I know the the throughput is 5gbps with default 128M memory

My questions are (as the docs dont seem to provide this info) - how many of the following can you create before the box says "enough is enough":-)

(1) how many 802.1q circuits can you create on a single box

(2) how many keepalives will the box go to ( i think its 256 but need clarification)

(3) how many content rules can you define

(4) how many services can you define

or if someone has the relevant hardware/software limitations or knows a link to point me in it would be appreciated

Thanks

1/ as much 802.1q circuit that you want

2/ depends on frequency, kal types [icmp, tcp or script]

3/ as much as the config can hold

4/ as much as the config can hold but only 64 per content rules.

Regards,

Gilles.
