Hello Gavin,

It depends of the platform you are running with.

For ACE30 here you have the details:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

By default, your ACE30 provides an Admin context and five user contexts that allows you to use multiple contexts if you choose to configure them. To increase the number of user contexts up to a maximum of 250, you must obtain a separate license from Cisco.

Here you have the link for that:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/services_modules/ace/vA4_1_0/configuration/virtualization/guide/config.html#wp1054813

For ACE4710 here you have the details:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/ace_appliances/vA4_1_0/configuration/virtualization/guide/config.html

By default, your ACE provides an Admin context and five user contexts that allows you to use multiple contexts if you choose to configure them. To increase the number of user contexts up to a maximum of 20, you must obtain a separate license from Cisco. For details about licensing, see the http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/ace_appliances/vA4_2_0/configuration/administration/guide/license.html

Do not forget to mark it if it was useful.

Hope this is what you were looking for.
