OE574 and HP ILO access

Hi,

Have an OE574 and found that it have an HP ILO enable, that we need to change from dhcp to static ip number.

But I am not able to logon to the ILO interface, see picture.

Any sugestion for change?

Hi Jan,

iLO is not a supported feature on WAVE appliances yet. If it is enabled, you can disable it from BIOS.

Otherwise, just put an excepotion in DHCP server for iLO mac address.

Do you have any specific reference on how to disable the ILO in the BIOS?

I have recreated this at our lab, and basically it goes lilke this:

Restart the server (574 WAVE).

Hold down the "F8" key during the server post, the device it self will show you when to press the F8 key. The ILO settings will appear.

Use the  arrows key to navigate to "Settings." Press the "Enter" button.

Press the "Down" arrow key to navigate to "iLO" and press "Enter."

Press "Enter" next to "Serial CLI Status." Select "DISABLED" under the options and press "Enter" again.

Press "F10" to save the settings. Restart the computer.

I hope this might be usefull for anyone having this issue.
