Hi,

What is the different between pass-through in the Policy Definitions and the bypass list under WCCP?

Do they both PT and the different is that PT in the policy def can be done on ports?

Jan

Hi Jan,

static bypass is a quick way to bypass all the policies and set to PT one specific client to one specific server (can use 1->any or any->1). You cannot specify ports nor you can use wildcards. Useful for problem isolation and to configure quick workarounds. PT in the policy gives you more granularity with the traffic classifiers. In the end the result is the same.

thanks,

Fabrizio
