Possible WAAS cifs issue

A users was trying to access a shared drive in one of our datacenters from a remote location using the map drive for this share.  When they tried to access a file, the file was not on there mapped drive.  They conducted a dir from a command prompt and then the file showed up.  However, it was someone else drive.  This makes no sense.  Could the WAE have gotten confused and allowed access into someone elses mapped drive because the file was cached on the WAE at this remote location?  Thanks.

What type of server/OS is hosting the share?  Is the server configured to use the Access-based Enumeration (ABE) feature?
