Hi
We have a latency/slowness in application access. Our scenario is like this.
We have hosted an application in Application server in Delhi.
From Bangalore we get a ping respose with aroubg 60ms. so We feel ok to access to application Dashboard.
Where as the same application will be accessed from some other user in Sweden and they do get a ping response of 200+ ms
And they complain always application is slow.
Because of distance it may addup additional latency from the user in Sweden.
How can we overcome from this to provide all the users satified access responce to the application. We do not want to deploy a seperate server at Sweden. They need to access the same as stated above.
Thanks

Hi Naveen,
Latency over WAN is expected and more the distance, more the latency. If you don't want the application to be hosted at different locations, one solution would be to deploy a WAN accelerator/optimizer like Cisco WAAS. You can get in touch with your local cisco account manager and engineer for more details around the product and its benefits. You can find more details here as well:

Hi FNU,
Thanks for your advice.
WAN optimization is the only solution for this if we are not ready to locate the server to nearest ?
or any alternate solutions available.
Please confirm.
thanks
