Hi,
I am configuring 2 CSM modules in separate Cat 6509 boxes in the FT mode. I would like to know how each CSM chooses the active and standby mode. Is it that when we configure the first CSM it becomes the active one and subsequently the 2nd CSM becomes standby post configuration of the same ? How can we manually changeover the active and standby roles in CSM's by command line in production status?
Thanks
Kas

You can do like this:
ft group 10 vlan 100
priority 210 alt 100 - sets priority
preempt - helps to keep active CSM
I haven't found a command to switch them manualy.
