Slow performance for HTTP

Hi,

Experiencing slow performance for http utilizing waas.

When looking at the statistics, I see that some http request which is optimized/accelerated. Other is not. Those that has no optimization/accleration, the optimized traffic is higher than the original traffic!! Why. Is there any magic that I have missed here?

First option: I suggest to open a TAC case so they can review on detailed.

You can also try the following:

1- reload the WAE device ( either the one at the core or the remote office)

2- if nothing changes stop here and  please open a TAC case

3- if the HTTP issue improve,  you might be hitting bug CSCud13729   ( at my best guess!!)

4- upgrade to latest release or 5.2.

the bug above basically  talks about HTTP performance.

in regards the chart optimized traffic being higher than original it could just you reading  the average vs current traffic or may be WAAS is adding more overhead than the actual orginal traffic.. that would be a good question for TAC to analyze further as well.
