I have configured SSL on a 6513 and also configured a management vlan with IP and VTY telnet. I allowed the management vlan and the SSL vlan using ssl-proxy command. I am able to telnet into the SSL module from the 6513 but can not telnet to SSL from other devices or workstations. Since I do not have network connectivity to the SSL I can not use the SSL device manager either. Am I missing something here? I only routed the client vlan (using bridge mode) and the management vlan on the MSFC.
I will appreciate any response.
Thanks

you need to configure the gateway command on your management vlan an point to the msfc.
Be carefull that the SSLM has many gateway/route commands and they have different usage.
Gateway is for the management vlan.
Route is for the server vlan
ip route is for the clients.

Gilles.

Gilles,
Thanks again for your response.
I have a gateway for the management vlan pointing to the msfc. I also have a gateway for the SSL vlan pointing to the CSM. Still can not ping the management IP on the SSL from the network. Is it okay to have the SSL management vlan same as the network management vlan, Or does it have to be different?
Thanks
