Waas deployment in the wan

Hi my name is Ivan

I have a wan betwen two sites, and i'm going to work waas with wae core, edge and central manager, in main site i have 1MB of bandwith and the remote site i have 512kb of bandwith. Please colud you tell me and advice to choose between deploy waas inline or wccp v2, I would like to work all the capacities and performance  of the waas.

I would like to work with one of them, and i'm not sure to choose

Hi Ivan,

Irrespective of the interception method (Inline or WCCP) you can use the full features and capacity of WAAS. Interception method has no relation to the usage of features on WAAS. Interception is only a method to redirect TCP traffic towards WAAS and WAAS will do the rest.

Although it is recommended to deploy WCCP for scalability and easy introduction, however depending on your network design you can decide whether you want to go with WCCP or Inline.

If you want to go with WCCP, please make sure the router / switch platforms that you have support WCCP v2. Below is a link for checking the WCCP platform support matrix.
