WAAS Preposition size limit was exceeded

Hi,

I have set up a file prepostion as requested by one of our regions, however i do not know at this time the size of the shared directory.

I had managed to transfer 4.2GBs over the weekend, but when i checked the WCM this morning, i saw the error "Preposition size limit was exceeded".

I have requested information over the size of the share, but i was wondering if there is a way to check/change the size allocated for file prepositioning on hte WAEs/WCM?

Many thanks

Hi,

When preposition is configured one can define below settings

1: Total Size as % of Cache Volume

Can you check and see what is this set to?

Hi Ashan,

Thanks for you response - the current setting is at 5%.

I never noted this setting previously - is there a max recommended?  I am still awaiting feedback on the size of the actual share.
