Hi,

I guess you are coming from the fact that WAVE 474 and 274 by default comes with 2 port inline card included, hence your question whether a switch / router can redirect traffic to these devices using WCCP or PBR or these devices have to be only used for Inline Interception.

Definetely as mentioned by Jan an L3 switch / router can redirect traffic to these devices. It has to be decided whether to use Inline Interception or WCCP or PBR Interception depending on the network environment where these devices 474 or 274 are going to be placed.
