I have a new pair of 4500-X switches. These are vary nice BTW. I have them configured for VSS with IOS-XE 3.4.1.SG. My question is this - can I run WCCP on these switches with VSS configured? I'm getting complicting information. I just created a WCCP group and didn't get an error.
Thanks,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
please have a look at the Release Notes:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4500/release/note/OL_27989-01.html#wp2612425
Short answer: WCCP with standalone is supported; with VSS, today it's not.
Your Cisco or Partner SE might have more insight on it.
Best Regards,
chris

for anyone that Comes across this I see it has been updated to Support WCCP V2 in VSS with the Enterprise Services licensing.
