wccp configure question in L3 switch

     I have configured the wccp in 3750 switch, my network toplogy as below:

Dan,

         I would check 2 things.

1: Switch Multicast routing
2: SDM template on switch should be set to “routing”

I have already configured the SDM template :

Switch(config)#do show sdm pre rou
"desktop routing" template:
The selected template optimizes the resources in
the switch to support this level of features for
8 routed interfaces and 1024 VLANs.

  number of unicast mac addresses:                  3K
  number of IPv4 IGMP groups + multicast routes:    1K
  number of IPv4 unicast routes:                    11K
    number of directly-connected IPv4 hosts:        3K
    number of indirect IPv4 routes:                 8K
  number of IPv4 policy based routing aces:         0.5K
  number of IPv4/MAC qos aces:                      0.5K
  number of IPv4/MAC security aces:                 1K

but the wccp still can't redirect the packets.

there is only one cache server connected to the switch,  it must configure the mrouting ?

Dan cache engine is registered and mask bucket is created, so there should be redirection. but i beleive show ip wccp 80 detail shall not show you redirection as the counter in the command is for S/w redirection while switch will perform H/w redirection.

Can you use some other mechanism like packet capture to confirm whether redirection is there or not.
