WCCP High CPU Load

Hi all

I have a cache that talks wccp v2. The router that redirects the traffic is a CISCO 7500 with 3 VIP 4-50 and 1 VIP 4-80 with dCEF on. I can´t be able to know why the cpu boost from 7% to 55% when I activate the ip wccp an I redirect traffic to the cache.

I would appreciate any kind of advice.

Check bug CSCdw28949 for this one. It is related to switching paths in cache response which shows as high load on the router. Found on 7500 with dCEF and caused high RSP load in 12.1(8a)E and not resolved in E code until 12.1(18.1)E. Check the IOS release that the box is running and upgrade if required.
