This topic is a chance to discuss more about how Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) / VXLAN Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN) works. It covers the best practices to deploy a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) EVPN fabric. Data centers are complicated to manage and troubleshoot, particularly when they are related to VXLAN. Nevertheless, after BGP implementation for VXLAN emerged, the use of BGP EVPN for deployment and manageability has become much simpler. The Cisco Nexus 9000 has the capability to deploy VXLAN fabric with BGP EVPN.
