This topic is a chance to discuss more about the various security features available on the Cisco Web Security Appliance (WSA), which helps businesses enhance their network security. The session experts will answer questions about the different utilities that the platform offers to troubleshoot common issues, and will describe the latest WSA features, both physical and virtual.
The session covers these WSA features: Web-Based Reputation Score (WBRS), Cisco Web Usage Controls (CIWUC), Advanced Malware Protection (AMP), HTTPS proxy, user authentication, and best practices for a production environment.

Alexandra Giunta is a Senior Customer Support Engineer on the Cloud Security team of Cisco Systems Technical Assistance Center (TAC) in RTP. She has worked with Cisco WSA and related security technologies for the last four years. Previously, she worked at the IT department of Hult International Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In addition to her expertise in security technologies, she is interested in other technologies such as visualization, system administration, and scripting and automation. Alexandra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Networking from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts and a CCNA R&S certification.
Siddharth Rajpathak works as a Customer Support Engineer on the Cloud Security team of Cisco Systems Technical Assistance Center (TAC) in RTP. He specializes in the security domain and has supported Cisco WSA for over a decade. In addition, he is very familiar with technologies related to internet protocols such as HTTP, SSL, FTP, and DNS, among others. Sid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from India and a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications form the University of Colorado, Boulder.
