We have a web application running on Custom Tab in Jabber MAC , web application is using cookies and local storage of browser , and application works fine on all platforms excepts Jabber MAC custom Tab .
Problem with Jabber MAC custom Tab is , local storage of browser and cookies are not persistent , by persistent I mean they work fine till we reboot the machine , once we reboot the machine or exit the Jabber local storage of browser is lost along with cookies.
Same web application is working fine on Jabber Windows Custom tab.
From TAC got an confirmation that Jabber MAC custom tab use default browser on your system , which in our case is Safari .
If we test the same application on Safari local storage and cookies are working fine ( by working fine I mean local storage is persistent even if we reboot the machine and cookies also work after reboot .
Any help or pointers on this will be of great help as we are struck on this .
