Chrome does not support H.264 yet. RE Mobile documentation says browser plugins support only VP8. What about other browsers? Firefox, Opera, Are there any browsers that do not require transcoding to H.264?

Browsers that support H.264 with WebRTC (e.g. Firefox) would not need transcoding. H.264 is the preferred codec, falling back to VP8 (and requiring transcoding on the backend) as needed.

Thank you Edwin, I see that in the docs. Was asking more about H.264 support that is not that clear in the docs. That is if doing web-based app (not mobile) talking to Cisco UC (IP Phone) what % of sessions need to be transcoded. Is it 100% or RE Mobile CSDK can do H.264 with at least some browsers like FireFox and Opera that do support H.264 for WebRTC.

Thank you David, would be great to make it clear in the documentation.
