Hide custom tab

is it possible to hide a custom tab ? Maybe in the jabber-config.xml file ?

As far as I know, you cannot have a tab that is active, but hidden.

Curious as to what the use case might be, as there may be some other way to achieve your requirement...

A use case is to execute some JavaScript when we receive a phone call (example: open a browser)
