Hi,
I just started learning IPSS. I put the example JSP as service on the phone but got XML parse error message. I wonder the latest SDK CiscoPhoneService.jar is compatible with Callmanager version 8 or 9's AXL or not. Somebody can share the insight?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Lou,
Please refer chapter 2 of "Cisco Unified IP Phone Services Application Development Notes Supporting XML Applications Release 9.1(1)"
The following list contains the items that are required for the sample services to work properly:
•Microsoft IIS 4.0 or later (for ASP sample services)
•Sun J2SE 1.4.2 or later and Tomcat 4.0 or later (for JSP sample services)
•Internet Connection to external websites like Yahoo.com, Cnn.com etc.
•Cisco Unified Communications Manager 4.1(2) or later.
•Cisco Unified IP Phones that supports XML services
Thanks and Regards,

Thanks gcheria. I followed the guide and trying to test speeddials on my phone but I got error XML error [4]: Parse Error when I click "DONE" button. I would think it might be some capability issue with my call manager 9.1.1. So it appears it's compatible from the paper. But anyone has real experience using this SDK with version 9 callmanager? Thanks.
Lou
